Ok, so answer this question(this should be good):
Who is the GOAT, or greatest of all time? Make it interesting and give some reason's to back up your claim....
Also, this can be based on anything:
-Rings
-Talent/Skills
-Stats
-Future Success(if a current player is not as established, but you feel they will be the GOAT)

They've been saying that since LA won their last ring. Not saying he can't and I'm not taking anything away from Kobe, because I think he's currently the best in the game. Greatest of all time? Hell no. As far as getting things done, Bill Russell wins that one by a landslide. Hell, Jordan got a LOT done in the time he played. Kobe came out of high school, Jordan had to waste away 3 years in college and STILL got 6 rings while taking a season off for baseball.

But Jordan also had better talent around him and you cannot sit here and say he didnt because if kobe had pippen rodman etc.. Then kobe could for sure have 6 already!

If shaq would have stayed Kobe would have at least 7. But, he didn't, and he has 5. If I were 6'8, really athletic, shot the ball 100%, I could get a spot on an NBA roster....see where I am going with this?

That has nothing to do with the conversation lol My point is already spoken and kobe has every right to be the greatest player of all time i wouldnt care if he shared it with jordan but in my eyes he deserves to be right there with jordan as the g.o.a.t

No, it has everything to do with the conversation. You're saying "if", and I'm saying "yeah....but it didn't happen that way". I respect your view on Kobe, though. Thank God you didn't say Lebron or I would have flipped. Here are my thoughts:
-Achievements: Hands down Bill Russell.
-Actual talent/ability: Jordan.

One thing I want to add about Jordan vs Kobe(is this really an argument?) is that even if Kobe gets 6 rings, he will never have two three-peats.....come on son

there's really no argument in jordan vs kobe. jordan was 6-6 in the finals with 6 finals mvps. kobe has lost the finals twice and wasn't the best player on his team the first 3 (shaq was finals mvp all 3). kobe is great, he just has no right to be mentioned with jordan

The top 5 of all time is jordan, russell, abdul-jabbar, magic, bird/kobe. I cant decide between those two, so kobe is a top 5 player but i cant say he is the greatest of all time

Now there is a list.
